For several years now, rumors have suggested Apple’s mixed reality AR/VR headset which would launch sometime in 2024.

These glasses are supposed to be more of an everyday wearable product compared to the traditional headset made by companies like Samsung. With a minimal design, they are supposed to look similar to regular glasses.

Apple was reported to be planning to sell the glasses for about $499, give or take.

However, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the tech company has postponed development due to technical difficulties.

Engineers @ Apple have found it difficult to develop hardware required for the light-weight frames while at the same time having enough battery life to run.
